Leave a commentThe last couple of weeks have proven to be very exciting with the cricket season in full swing and other sporting occassions rearing up. There is nothing to beat the thrill of sports photography and I never foget what a privelige it is to be working in an environment that I love so much.
I thought I would share a selection of images with you which highlights some of the work over the past couple of weeks.

Boxing Photography – York Hall, Bethnal Green
I wouldn’t claim to be a specialist boxing photographer however when the opportunity arrived to go ringside at York Hall the home of British bxing then I couldn’t say no. Totally different skills are required (and equipment) to many other sports and you get a step nearer to appreciating the bravery of the pugilists.

Cricket Photography – Essex County Cricket Club
Can there be a better job for an Essex cricket fan and photographer – I’m not convinced there is. Cricket photography can be hard work (honestly) and you never stop learning:

Sports photography is a specialist field which appeals to many people however it is also one of the more difficult arenas in which to make a start and to build a portfolio.
Unshaken Photography Training is proud to be the official photographer of Essex County Cricket Club and offers a unique insight into sports photography. Our one day sports photography course provides you with an overview of the technical, creative and commercial skills needed to become a success.
Portrait photography course

Leave a commentWe recently ran one of our ever popular portrait photography courses in Chelmsford, Essex with a brilliant bunch of photographers and a great new model Danni. I always enjoy running this particualr course as the delegates never fail to be amazed at how quickly they can develop their photography skills and start producing wonderful, professional standard portraits.
This particular course is aimed towards photographers who are either keen amateur photographers, those looking to take better pictures of family / friends and those looking to become professional portrait photographers.
During the course of the day we managed to pack in plenty of photographic techniques, tips and practices. All of the students produced some stunning results.

Our model Danni was great to work with as she was very friendly and happy to try everyone’s ideas. As a professional model she was happy to try all of the poses that we were working on whilst also providing some great ideas herself.
We intentionally run our photography courses with small group sizes so that everyone feels very comfortable and has plenty of time to develop their skills.
